Clinical Profile: C/O: Left cerebellopontine angle space occupying lesion. Sx : Left retromastoid suboccipital craniotomy with excision of SOL .
FINDINGS AND IMPRESSION:
Comparison: MRI dated 6-5-24 FINDINGS: − Left suboccipital craniotomy status with interval resection of the lesion in left cerebello-pontine cistern. − There is persistent mild dilatation of left peri medullary cistern, left prepontine cistern, interpeduncular and suprasellar cisterns. − Few air-pockets are noted in suprasellar an interpeduncular cistern—in keeping with post-op changes. − Extra-axial collection of thickness ~ 7 mm along left posterior cerebellar convexity with minimal pneumocephalus causing mild mass effect on left cerebellar hemisphere, − Mild extracalvarial soft tissue swelling with few air pockets noted. − No evidence of any large artery territorial acute infarct. − Rest of the brain parenchyma appears normal. No midline shift. − Rest of the study is unremarkable. IMPRESSION: Interval resection of the lesion with stable post-operative changes.
