Cerebellar intraparencymal hemorrhage involving right cerebellar hemisphere of size measuring 5.5 x 2.5cm, causing mass effect on the basal cisterns and compression of the brain stem

Acute intraparenchymal hemorrhage measuring 5.5 x 3.1 x 2.0 cm with mild surrounding edema noted in right cerebellar hemisphere and vermis, extending to left medial cerebellar hemisphere.

There is mass effect in the form of effacement of cerebellar foliae, 4th ventricle, ambient and quadrigeminal cisterns.

? Mild tonsillar herniation of ~ 5 mm noted

Acute to subacute intracerebral hemorrhage which is predominantly hyperdense with areas of hypodensity measuring about 5.5 x 3.1 x 2.0 cm, with mild surrounding vasogenic edema is noted in right cerebellar hemisphere and vermis, with mild extension to left medial cerebellar hemisphere. There is mass effect in the form of effacement of cerebellar folia, compression of the 4 th ventricle and brain stem. There is evidence of inferior cerebellar tonsil herniation of ~ 6 mm into the foramen magnum

IMPRESSION

Acute to subacute intracerebral hemorrhage in the right cerebellar hemisphere and vermis, with mild extension to left medial cerebellar hemisphere with mass effect on the brain stem and fourth ventricle. Evidence of inferior cerebellar tonsil herniation of ~ 6 mm into the foramen magnum.
